Please take the time to read through this introduction letter in order to get more information about contracting for Heskett Promotions, LLC.
Heskett Promotions, LLC is a small company, which I started seven years ago and is growing steadily. I am looking for part-time, independent contractors to sample out beer products. We go to local liquor stores all around the Twin Cities and surrounding suburbs and pour samples of either new beer products that are coming out or "oldies-but-goodies," which need a little primping in the marketplace. Even though we are handing out free samples to customers, that does not apply to the contractor as we do NOT drink the product while handing out samples.Our mission is to inform the customer about the product they are sampling, and not to
push the sale on them. This position is not based on sales, but service based. There are no incentives for sales of the products. When an independent contractor goes out to sample a product, they are given information and history about that product and the brewery. This makes it a fun job because you are able to learn about different products, styles, histories and fun-facts about each.Heskett Promotions, LLC conducts samplings in and around the Twin Cities areas. We work within the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul and well as all of the surrounding suburbs outside of each city. We even go as far as 2+ hours away from the cities to conduct samplings.
This is a part-time position. Please be informed that this position is for people who like to work short hours, have a short commute time and only work two to three days (if you choose) out of the week (we only work on Thursday, Friday & Saturday). Thursday and Friday shifts are usually from 4-8 pm or 5-8 pm. Saturday shifts can range from 1-8 pm, as we work double shifts on Saturdays. Heskett Promotions, LLC provides a sampling bowl, sampling cups, name tag, report forms, self addressed and stamped envelopes for mailing report forms back, and a folder contatining information on the product you are sampling. All you need to do is show up, behave well, do NOT drink, fill out the report form, and send it back to Heskett Promotions, LLC. The wage is $12/hour.+ mileage.
The independent contractors that are working right now are either students or individuals with full time jobs who like to work once and a while.
This position requires an individual to be: an independent contractor, 21 years of age or older, reliable, have reliable transportation, willing to drive 10-40 minutes to a sampling, punctual, work part-time, professional, have fun interacting one-on-one with customers, and most of all, love to do samplings!After reading this, and the position sounds like a good fit for you, please contact me over e-mail or fax with your resume.
